Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Mrs. Freeman was born September 19, 1918 and passed away February 5, 2016. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who was loved by all. Mrs. Freeman loved the Lord with all her heart, and even stricken with Alzheimer's in her later years, she never forgot Him. She had a great love for all children, including our cousins who lived nearby. She could be best described by her own children as the least selfish person they have even known, always putting the needs of others before her own. Mrs. Freeman also had a great sense of humor and was a shining example for all. We will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ardella Jordan Redding; father, Willis Malachi Redding; husband, Truett Freeman; brothers, Hall Redding and Willis M. "Dub" Redding; and several half siblings, including our beloved Uncle "Hop", Hobson Redding. Surviving family members include her three children, Reggie Freeman (Jackie), Rita Soignier (Chris), and Robbie Freeman (Joellen); grandchildren, Jay Freeman (Jamie), Jeff Freeman (Mandy), Jamie Ross Freeman (Wendy), Aimee Soignier Barefield (Bo), Ben Soignier (Brandi), Madison Williams, Kyle Williams and Jenni Killian (Robbie); great grandchildren, Shelby, Jacob, Lexie, Cayden, Josee, William, Mason, Addie Mae and John Abram; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jay Freeman, Jeff Freeman, Jamie Ross Freeman, Ben Soignier, Danny Redding, David Redding, Jerry Redding and Scott Redding. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Redding and Ritchie Redding. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 8, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Savannah Grand Cottage for their care in the past three years and Jennia Adams of LA Hospice and Leslie Bishop. Memorials may be made to the Gideon's International.
