BETTYE JAYNE FRENCH

On June 26, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m., while at home and surrounded by 
her most precious loved ones, we said farewell to the most special and loving 
lady in our lives, Bettye Jayne Washburne French, affectionately known by her 
family as "Mamo."

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. 
Albans Episcopal Church in Monroe, LA. There will be a visitation from 10:30 AM 
until 12:00 PM at St. Albans Church on Wednesday. Officiating will be Father 
Whit Stodghill and Archdeacon Bette Jo Kauffman. Interment will be at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
of Monroe, LA.

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her husband George, 
daughter Taffy, and grandson Brad. She is survived by three children, Bruce 
French, Michelle Matherne, and Jan Warlick, seven grandchildren, 13 great 
grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
