OTTO FROST

Funeral services for Mr. Otto Frost of West Monroe will be held at The 
Assembly, West Monroe at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015. Rev. Shane Warren, Rev. 
Butch Pilcher, Rev. Blake Frost and Rev. Ricky Baker will officiate. Interment 
will follow at Luna Assembly Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mr. Frost was born July 17, 1918 and passed away April 29, 2015 in West Monroe. 
He worked as a watchman at Luna Fire Tower, drove a school bus for Cypress 
School, worked with the LA Highway Department in Road Maintenance, and was a 
train engineer for Olinkraft until his retirement. He was preceded in death by 
his wife, Mary Magdalene Downs Frost; grandsons Ryan Frost and Steven Weeks; 
his parents John Lawson Frost and Mecie Bamburg Frost; sisters Addie Mae Head, 
Gertie Thomas, Helen Sharbano, and Dorothy Frost; brother Alfred Frost.

Mr. Frost is survived by his children; Leon Frost and wife Mildred, Glen Frost 
and wife Barbara, Doris (Frost) Weeks and husband Carroll of Grayson, LA, Sue 
(Frost) Allen, Ruth (Frost) Douthit and husband Ranzie, Paul Frost and wife 
Debbie and Robert Frost and wife Sharon; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-
grandchildren; brothers, Carl Frost, Ellis Frost, Dean Frost; sisters Marie 
Tolbird and Polly Bryant.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family extends thanks to LA Hospice and the staff of Ridgecrest, Rosemont, 
and a special thanks to Gale Palm.

Visitation will be held Saturday May 2, 2015 12:00 PM until service time at The 
Assembly of West Monroe.
