MARVIN O. FROST

Funeral services for Mr. Marvin O. "Skeeter" Frost, age 89 of West Monroe, will 
be held at 2:00pm, Friday, October 16, 2015 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral 
Home West Monroe with Brother Byron Boykin and Larry Lanier officiating. 
Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.

Mr. Frost was born March 17, 1926 in Winnsboro, TXand passed from this life on 
October 13, 2015 after a lengthy battle with diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. 
He went peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones. Always one who 
enjoyed a good laugh, even during his last days he never lost his great sense 
of humor.

Marvin was a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly and honorably served his country in 
World War II and the Korean War. He was a U.S. mail carrier and a retired iron 
worker from local 710. He is preceded in death by five brothers and two 
sisters.

Skeeter is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Farris Graves Frost of West 
Monroe; two daughters, Brenda Patrick and husband Marvin, Wanda Casola and 
husband Dean; grandchildren, Jami Etheridge and husband Bucky, Kara Williams 
and husband Justin, Derek Casola and wife Lauren, Anna Patrick, and Deano 
Casola; great-grandchildren, Madison & Mallory Etheridge, Abigail & Avery 
Williams, and Keegan Casola, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Adkins, Derrall Frost, Benny Graves, Marvin Patrick, 
Wayne Dowdy and William Frisby.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 
Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
