Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Highland Presbyterian Church, 1403 Wellerman Road in West Monroe with Rev. George Wortham officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Thursday. Anna grew up in Monroe where she graduated from Neville High School in 1952 as Valedictorian and captain of the Tigerettes, and also where she met the love of her life, Robert Sidney (Sid) Fuller. She went off to LSU in Baton Rouge where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta, and earned her degree in three years instead of four so she could marry Sid. They were married on June 23, 1955. After Anna and Sid moved around with the US Navy, they decided to settle in Ruston where Anna took her first job in the insurance industry. They later adopted their two long awaited children Michael Johnson and Sydney Anne. They raised their family together in West Monroe, with the help of special grandparents next door (Frank and Dorothy), until the death of Sid in 1985. Anna spent most of her career working for Troy and Nichols Insurance Agency and later retired from Troy and Montgomery as President in 1999. Anna continued to live in West Monroe where she has been not only the most wonderful mother, best friend and grandmother, but also everyone's special "Anna" and "Nana." Anna's world revolved around her children and grandchildren and their worlds around her. She was one of a kind. She was active in her church, Highland Presbyterian, and loved to go to Little Theatre and any local choral concerts or programs. As most already know, she never sat at home. She had a group known as the Divas (her group of high school girlfriends) that she loved to frequently go to dinner with. Anna was so loved and loved so many. She will be extremely missed by her family and friends. After waiting 25 years, Sid has his beautiful Anna back. As our hearts break, Heaven is rejoicing to have such a beautiful angel. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sidney Fuller; her mother, Dorothy Klepper Johnson; her father, Frank Milton Johnson; and her brother, Robert Ruhl Johnson. She is survived by her son, Michael Johnson Fuller; daughter, Sydney (Suzy) Anne Fuller Miles and her husband, Michael Brandon Miles; a granddaughter, Kristin Michelle Morris; three grandsons, Justin Michael Fuller, Randall Tyler Holstead, and Joseph Baron Fuller; three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Anthony, and Gabriel Fuller; two nephews, Brian Bishop Johnson, MD and Robert Durrell Johnson; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Lovett Johnson; a very special "D", and many, many, friends and extended family. Memorials may be made to Highland Presbyterian Church.
