MARIE FUTCH

Funeral services for Marie Futch, 93, of Monroe, are at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, 
February 10, 2016 in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with 
Dr. Bill Robertson, Jr. and Rev. Everett Geis officiating. Interment follows in 
Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of 
Monroe. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 Noon until the time of service 
at the funeral home.

A homemaker and lifelong resident of Monroe, Mrs. Futch was a member of New 
Hope Baptist Church. Her passion was for her family and her church. She loved 
to cook and was always working on preparing meals at the church and for 
friends. Marie loved the Lord and was a true servant of God and her church. She 
was recognized as a person of dedication, integrity and dignity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood Futch; her parents, Clarence 
and Bertha Wales Kincaid; two sisters, Betty Ford and Gartha Parsons; two 
brothers, Terrell and Edward Kincaid; and a son-in-law, Jerry Bennett.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Gorman and husband Sig; a son, Gary Futch 
and wife, Henrietta; grandsons Greg Futch and wife, Denise, Kevin Futch, and 
J.J. Bennett and wife, Summer; granddaugthers Shawn Patton and husband, Shane, 
Gara Arrant and husband, Shane; great grandchildren Cole, Kendyl, Ashton, 
Mason, Brooke, Lauren, Gabbi, Breann, Olivia, Alyssa, Jace, Brice, Jordan, 
Tyler, and Justin; great great grandson, Cannon; and a number of nieces and 
nephews and friends.

Active pallbearers include Arthur Earl, Hal Wales, Bobby Bryant, J.J. Bennett, 
Greg Futch, and Cole Hemphill. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Futch, Shane 
Patton, David Beezley, and Don Perry.

The family would like to thank all the staff, nurses and caregivers at Ouachita 
Healthcare. Your loving care you gave to our mother will never be forgotten. 
Special thanks to Ashley, Alice, Angel, and Michelle for always being there 
with support and love for our mother.
