Obituary of Roland Filhoil 
from the Dallas Morning News May 19, 1906 
Special to the news Shreveport, La May 18, 1906
A Message from Monroe says Roland Filhoil, aged 53 years,
died suddenly this morning from Apoplexy.  He was one of 
the oldest and wealthiest citizens of Ouachita Parish 
and leaves and estate worth nearly $1,000,000.
