RUBY GALLAWAY

Funeral services for Ruby Gallaway, of Mangham, LA will be held 10:00 AM, 
Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Lone Cherry Baptist Church, Mangham, LA with 
Rev. Doyle Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Cherry Cemetery, 
Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Ruby Gallaway, 91, went to be with her Lord Monday, September 1st at her Mangham 
home with her family by her side.

Ruby was born August 23, 1923 to Henry and Blanch Jones in Mangham, LA. She was 
a 6 generation member.

Mrs. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gallaway; sister, Myrtis; 
brothers, Dub and Allen; grandson, Gerald; and granddaughter, Sandy.

Survivors include her sister, Dot Dear and Lannie Brady; son, William "Junior" 
O. Jackson and wife, Meavline of Mangham; grandchildren, Rusty Jackson, Mike 
Jackson, David Jackson and wife, Tanya and Labreeska Wood and husband, Sam, 
Marcus Smith and wife, Kat; great grandchildren, Tasha, Nakia, Sabrina, Natalie, 
and Kenneth;14-great-great grandchildren and 2-great-great-great grandchildren; 
She had several close friends who stood by her side who included W.J. Gibson and 
Christy Uehling; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Frankie Dear, James Dear, Robert Gibson, Mitchell Jones, Junior 
Jones, and Jamie Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Jackson, Claude Nobles, 
Rob Nobles, Mark Smith, and Gene Wall.

Visitation is 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Lone Cherry Baptist, Mangham, LA
