Tommy Gammill and Glynn D. Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Stevenson Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Thomas Leon Gammill was born on January 9, 1924 in Richland Parish, Louisiana. He He departed this life on April 19, 2017, in Rayville, Richland Parish, Lo Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marley Levi Gammill and Birdie Beatrice Box Gammill; and by his loving wife of 57 years, Helen Bernice Hardy Gammill. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Patsy Roberts and husband, Glynn of Rayville, Louisiana; his daughter, Helen Stewart and husband Frank of Lake Providence, Louisiana; and his son, Tommy Gammill and wife, Mickie of Long Be Beach, Mississippi. He is survived by 8 grandchildren, John David Murray, Patrick Murray and wife Ashley, Greg Roberts, Tiffany Thibodeaux and husband Garin, Jason Bailes and wife Cheyenne, Natosha Flores, Jonathan Gammill and wife Kala, and Danielle Shepherd. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, Lexi Roberts, Garrett Roberts, Eileen Murray, Colin Murray, Brody Thibodeaux, Kallie Mae Thibodeaux, Blakelynn Blakelynn Bailes, Cheylee Bailes, Ronald Dean Bailes, Diego Flores, Marissa Flores, Abi Flores, Carlos Flores, Madison Shepherd, Andrea Shepherd, Austin Shepherd, and Kammy Burney. He is also survived by two brothers, Lilburn Gammill and wife Irene of Niceville, Florida and Billy Ray Gammill and wife Roz of Monroe, Louisiana, and one sister-in-law Jean Burkett of Farmerville, Louisiana, as well as many ni nieces, nephews, and cousins. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
