MAE MCNEICE GARDNER
Jones Hartshorn Funeral Home

Hamburg, AR

Mrs. Mae McNeice Gardner, 96, of Hamburg, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 
2009 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. She was born in Ashley 
County on July 23, 1913 to the late Lewis & Maggie Brown McNeice. She was a 
homemaker and a member of the Gardner Baptist Church. She loved quilting, 
working in her flower beds and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Gardner in 1972; a 
granddaughter, Jeri Lynn Smith and five brothers; Bennie, Vernon, Ray, Bill & 
Odell McNeice.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeralene Smith and husband, Bill, of 
Hamburg, Helen Malloy and husband, Otis Paul, of Crossett and Marie White and 
husband, Charles, of Hamburg; two brothers, Lavelle McNeice of Quinlan, TX. 
and Clifton McNeice of Carrollton, TX.; a sister, Louis Sydoriak of Hamburg; 8 
grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and a host 
of nieces and nephews.F

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 12, 2009 in the chapel of 
Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park. 
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.,Friday at the funeral home.

71646 or to the Shiloh Baptist Church, c/o Alisa Scott, 774 Ashley 81 Road, 
Hamburg, AR 71646.
