MIKE GARLAND

Funeral services for Mike Garland, 67, of Start, LA will be held at 10:00 
AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Rev. 
Jeffrey Thomas and Garey Trisler officiating. Interment will follow in the 
Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville.

Mike was born July 23, 1949 in Start, LA and passed away Saturday, September 
17, 2016 in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Mike was a member of the Start Baptist Church and the Start Volunteer 
Firefighters.

Survivors include his son, Michael Garland and wife, Misty of Start; 
grandson, Trey Garland of Start; one half sister; and one sister-in-law.

Pallbearers are the Start Volunteer Firefighters: Delbert Crow, Terry 
Parker, Jonathan Crow, Jeremy Crow, Elliot Colvin, Mickey Skains, Dustin 
Drake, and Garey Trisler. Honorary pallbearers will be all of the First 
Responders.

Visitation is 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, September 19th at Start Baptist 
Church.
