GREGGORY COFFER GARLINGTON


Greggory Coffer Garlington, 60, of Salisbury died on Thursday, October 6, 
2016 at his home. Born on September 4, 1956 in Monroe, Louisiana he was the 
son of Leonard O. Garlington and the late Norma Sue Garlington.

Gregg honorably served our country in the United States Navy for 4 years. He 
was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family 
watching movies and listening to music. Gregg was devoted to his Lord and 
Savior, Jesus Christ. He was also passionate about computers both personally 
and professionally. Gregg loved traveling and looked forward to going to the 
mountains and beach every year with his wife and children. And every fall 
Gregg especially loved cheering for his LSU Tiger football team.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Denise Garlington; 
son, Geoffrey Garlington; daughter, Christina Garlington; sister, Gaylene 
Davis and her husband, Tom; two brothers, Danny Garlington and his wife, 
Carrie and Doug Garlington and his wife, Terri Kay; aunts, Cecile Brunson, 
Eugenia Montgomery and her husband, Steve, and Marlene Meredith; and several 
beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West 
Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 1 pm.
