JUSTIN LEE GARNER

Justin Lee Garner, 33, of West Monroe, LA, passed away on April 11, 2016. The 
funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 15, 2016 at First West 
Church in West Monroe. Pastor Michael Wood will be officiating. Visitation will 
be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 also at First West. 
Burial will follow the funeral at Rock Corner Baptist Church in Dubach, LA. 
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe.

Justin was born in West Monroe, LA on October 23, 1982. He graduated from West 
Monroe High School in 2001. Justin was married to Adrianne Knighten Garner on 
December 1, 2007, they were married for 8 years. They have one son, age 1 ½ , 
named Ayden Kyle Garner after Justin's late brother, Kyle Garner, who died in 
2007. Justin worked in childcare with his mother, Loren Garner at Mommy Um's 
Daycare most of his life, but professionally for the last 10 years, which 
showed his love for children, he enjoyed playing the guitar, playing with his 
son, and spending time with family. He was also actively involved in First West 
Celebrate Recovery program and many different youth activities with the church. 
Justin had a passionate heart for children (he would say because he still is 
one) and wanted to share his story and help people young and old find God. He 
treated the children at Mommy Um's as family. Justin loved God with all of his 
heart and dreamed of being more involved in the church in the youth programs.

Justin is survived by his wife, Adrianne Garner, parents, Loren and Walter 
Garner, son, Ayden Kyle Garner, grandmother, Margaret Brewster, mother and 
father in law, Aliece and Carl Knighten, aunts and uncles, Melinda and Doug 
Boyd, Jeff and Stacie Brewster, Debbie Seab, Duane and Natalie Garner, Chris 
Garner, brother in law, Trey Knighten, and sister in law, Emily Knighten, and 
numerous other family and friends.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Betty and 
Wilbur Garner, grandfather, Ragan Brewster, brother, Matthew Kyle Garner, and 
cousin Larry Wayne Seab III, Trey.

Pallbearers will be Chase McMillan, Trey Knighten, Tim Socha, Rodney Stoffer, 
Nick Garner, Tommy Neck. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dillon Percy and Jamie 
Coon.

In lieu of flowers or memorial donations, the family asks that you please 
remember in this time of need, any donations would be appreciated. There is a 
Go Fund me page being set up for anyone who wishes to donate. Thank you for 
your support.
