Daneil Breithaupt and Bro. Tony Campanale officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Garris, a homemaker & retired bus driver for Union Parish Schools, passed away June 15, 2013. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Garris, parents: R. E. & Clemmie Johnson and 1 sister, Pat Dendy. Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons: Marty Garris & wife, Krista of Farmerville and Greg Garris & wife, Kelly of Ruston; 1 daughter: Loretta Garris Phillips & husband, Brandon of Farmerville; 3 brothers: Gary Johnson & wife, Debbie, Bobby Johnson & wife, Margaret and Terry Johnson & wife, T.K. all of Farmerville; 3 sisters: Vicki Brantley & husband, Donny, Marie Burroughs & husband, Dusty and Becky Johnson all of Farmerville; 4 grandchildren: Leanne Garris, Taylor Garris, Meagan Garris and Cooper Garris; 1 step grandchild: Kaylee Armstrong; several nieces & nephews and many friends. Pallbearers are Michael Johnson, Steven Johnson, Keith Johnson, Jamie Brantley, Brandon Brantley, Daniel Stokes, Kyle Stokes, Kendall Puckett, Josh Johnson and Cooper Garris. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Johnson, Eric Dendy and Wesley Carroll. Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Monday at Beulah Baptist Church, Farmerville.
