CLARICE KEE GIBSON



Funeral services for Mrs. Clarice Kee Gibson, 86, of Rayville, LA will be 2:00 
pm Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Boeuf River Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Whitlock 
and Bro. Eric Silk officiating, interment to follow in Rayville Masonic 
Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville, LA



Mrs. Gibson was born Nov. 14, 1926 in Bay, Arkansas and passed away Thursday, 
May 2, 2013 at her residence. She moved to Rayville with her parents and 
sisters as a teenager during World War II where she met the love of her life, 
Ulmer Cooper Gibson.



In their journey together, they were blessed with four children. She was a 
devoted wife, farming and as a cattle business partner for 56 years. She was a 
longtime member of Boeuf River Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School 
Secretary for many years.



She was preceded in death by her husband Ulmer Cooper Gibson, her parents R. C. 
and Lillian Opal Elkins Kee and a sister Ruby Thompson.



She is survived by a daughter Jane Gibson Reed and her husband Billy of Wisner, 
LA; three sons, Robert Gibson of Mangham, LA, William "Bill" Gibson and his 
wife Rita of Rayville, LA and Greg Gibson and his wife Phyllis also of 
Rayville, LA; two sisters, Lonnie Kee Tucker of Winnsboro, LA and Anne Kee 
Morris and her husband Orie Gene of Rayville, LA; a daughter-in-law Annette 
Gibson of Rayville, LA; and a special friend Mrs. Jane Cole of Start, LA; nine 
grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.



Pallbearers will be LeRoy Gibson, Bob Gibson, Wes Gibson, Larry Tucker, Tim 
Morris and Todd Rogers.



Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home-
Rayville
