BERTHA MARIE GILBERT

Services for Mrs. Bertha Marie Gilbert, 79 of Delhi, LA will be at 10:00 a.m. 
Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Harmony Baptist Church in Delhi with Rev. Scottie 
Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in 
Delhi, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mrs. Gilbert was a life-long member of Harmony Baptist Church. She loved her 
church and her church family, she also loved gardening. She quilted, crocheted, 
and took care of others. A true servant of her Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gillon D. Gilbert, grandson, Daniel 
Mac Dearman, parents, Paul and Alice Helams, sister, Julia Taylor, and 
brothers, Paul Allen Helams, and Richard Helams, Sr.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Sharon Dearman and husband Mac of Rayville, LA, 
Naomi Lynn Woodman and husband Mark of Cleveland, TX, 4 sisters, Cindy Loftin, 
Ester Rodgers, and Evelyn Ogden, all of Delhi, LA, and Helen McKnight of 
Liberty, TX, 1 brother, Raymond Helams of Harrison, AR, 4 Grandchildren and 4 
Great Grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers are: Robert Parker, Charles Prendergast, Joseph Van Wick, Brian 
Sullivan, Richard Helams, Jr., Charles Helams, Paul Ogden, and Dan Ogden.
