EVA CLAIRE NICKLES GINN


A native of Columbus, Miss., and longtime resident of Monroe, she died in 
Collierville, Tenn. on January 8, 2014 at the age of 79 after a brief illness. 
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eris J. Ginn; two children, Mike 
Ginn and wife Simone Guerin Ginn, Nancy Ginn Cueria and husband Mike Cueria; and 
four grandchildren, Ryan Ginn, Rachel Ginn, Danielle Cueria, and Missy Cueria. 
She was preceded in death by her father Gilbert Nickles, mother Eva Pratt 
Walton, and stepfather Reece Walton. She graduated from Mississippi College for 
Women and received her Master's of Social Work from Louisiana State University. 
She was retired from the Monroe Regional Mental Health Center. She was a 
certified Master Gardener, member of the Monroe Garden Club, and enjoyed 
attending ULM sports events. Visitation will be held at Northminster Church, 
2701 Lamy LN, Monroe, La., on Jan. 18, 2014 at 10:00am until memorial service at 
11:30am. Inurnment will be in Northminster Memorial Garden.
