LEON GOBER JR.

Funeral services for Leon Gober, Jr., 88, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM 
Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Gober was born November 21, 1924 and died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at St. 
Francis Medical Center. He retired from Occidental Petroleum, formerly Columbian 
Carbon Company, where he was a plant manager and spent several years traveling 
to countries including Italy, Brazil, and England. He was a member of St Mark's 
United Methodist Church.

Mr. Gober was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy C. Gober.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Alan Gober and wife Tracy of The Woodlands, TX, 
and Dr. John David Gober and wife Judy of Chesapeake, VA; two granddaughters, 
Meredith Gober and Julie Gober; one grandson, Josh Gober; one sister, Marie 
Gober; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church
