Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA 

Funeral services for Mr. Jeff Godwin, 46, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 
2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA. Interment to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Jeff was born 
October 12, 1963 in Monroe, LA and passed away December 31, 2009 in 
Perryville, LA on Bartholomew Bayou. Jeff loved to hunt, fish and most 
importantly spend time with his family. He was a hero and gave his own life to 
save his son. Jeff was a bus driver for ULM for several years and he enjoyed 
all the people at ULM. He loved everyone and will never be forgotten. Jeff is 
survived by his wife Druann Godwin; six children, Glenn Christesen, Brian 
Christesen, Misty Godwin, Meloni Phillips, Destini Godwin and Dalton Godwin; 
parents, Thomas and Sandra Godwin; brother, Mark Godwin and wife Lori; sister, 
Deborah Kemper; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Zachary 
Godwin, Carley Mayberry, Jonathan Barbara, Casey Wallace, Tommy Hall, Terry 
Langley, Timothy Langley, Brian Christesen, Dustin Haney and Brent Prince. 
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
