Officiating will be Bro. Harry Lilly and Bro. Danny Hawthorne. Interment will follow at McKnight Cemetery near Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Grafton was born October 27, 1917 in Crowville, LA and passed away, Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Monroe, LA. She was a homemaker, a former cafeteria worker at Holly Ridge School, a seamstress at Buccaneer Manufacturing in Rayville and a nursery operator. Mrs. Grafton was member of Forest Glade Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husbands: J. C. Collier and Grady Grafton. Mrs. Grafton is survived by her daughters: Martha Jordan and husband John of Monroe, LA, Hilda Clack and husband Lamar of Tallulah, LA, Kathy Sharplin and husband Art of Austin, TX, Marjorie Rose and husband Fred of West Monroe, LA and Ann Graves and husband John of Lewisville; son: Tom Grafton and wife Lois of Pine Bluff, AR; eighteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sisters: Dixie Gross, Lavetta Hall, Nathell Parker, and Nedra Sutterland and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Don Clack, Dan Sharplin, Glyn Jordan, Tommy Murphy, Bruce Clack, and Mitchell Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Clack, Tony Murphy, and Toby Murphy. Memorials may be made to Christus St. Joseph Home 2301 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA 71201. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2005 and 12:00 noon until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
