Interment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Annie Comrato Graham was born June 18, 1904 in Donaldsonville, LA and passed away March 19, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center. Mrs. Graham was a founding member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of St. Joseph Altar Society. She and her husband owned and operated Superior Cleaners on Desiard Street from 1940 until 1960. Upon his death, she worked at Haddad cleaners until her retirement at seventy-six years of age. Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Graham; parents, Mary And Charles Comrato; brothers, Louis Comrato and Phillip Comrato; sisters, Josephine Comrato, Lottie C. Anzalone and Frances C. Fisher. Survivors include her sisters, Johanna Comrato, Marie "Bo" Comrato, and Virginia Comrato; nieces, Mary Margaret Dorris, Charlene Bruno, and Margaret Anzalone; great nieces, Gail Boyd, Kathy Stewart, Lisa Wassack, Donna Ferlicca, and Laura Anzalone; great nephews, Calvin "Chip" Dorris, Mike Bruno, and Joey Bruno; numerous great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mark Norris, Paul Burke, Ron Boyd, Will Tatum, David Wassack, Joey Feltri, Pete Embanato, Chris Ferlicca, and Lanny Stewart.. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin "Chip" Dorris. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2009 with a Vigil Wake at 6:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
