West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Claude R.Grant, Jr., 80, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA. Dr. George Wortham will officiate. Interment will follow at 
Antioch Cemetery Eros, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA.

Mr. Grant was born January 7, 1928 in Brownville, LA and passed away December 
12, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church 
and was retired from Riverwood Papermill.

Mr. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Claude R. Grant and Alta Grant 
Johnson and a daughter, Kathy Elee; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Grant and Robbie 
Palazzo.

He is survived by his wife Mary Grant; sons, Claude R. "Sonny" Grant III, 
Robert "Bob" Grant; sister, Evelyn Howett; brother, Edwin Johnson; 5 
grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Elee, J.T. Elee, Ian Grant, Chris Grant, Jackie Elee 
and Josh Elee.

Honorary pallbearers Melvin Bordelon and John Justice.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.
