CAROLYN A. GREEN

Funeral services for Carolyn A. Green, 91 of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM 
Friday, December 21, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington 
Road, Monroe, with Dr. Larry Stafford officiating. A private family interment 
will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Green passed away Monday, December 17, 2012, at St. Francis Medical 
Center. She was born in Paris, TN on November 8, 1921 to Mitford S. Minor and 
Annie Brewer Minor, was a resident of Monroe for seventy-five years, retired 
from J C Penney, and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Monroe.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Newell L. (Shorty) Green; and 
son, Terry M. Green.

Survivors include her son, James T. Green and wife Barbara; niece, Mitzi 
Harrist and husband James; grandchildren, Crystal Green, Eric Green, Shane 
Green, and Holly Green Whatley; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the caregivers that made her life 
so meaningful these past months, especially her primary caregiver, Kara Jackson
