Bro. Mickey Bounds will officiate. Entombment will follow in Kilpatrick's Serenity Garden Open-Air Chapel Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mary Margaret was born May 20, 1947 in Ruston, LA and passed away February 12, 2014 in Calhoun, LA after a lengthy battle with cancer. She graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Accounting and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and remained an avid Bulldog fan and supporter of LA Tech for the remainder of her life. Mary retired from both Riverwood International in West Monroe, LA and CenturyTel Corporation in Monroe, LA where she worked as an Accountant. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Davis and Helen Green Davis of Ruston, LA; and her beloved aunt and uncle, Clarence and Mattie Hawkins of Epps, LA. Mary Margaret is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William M. Green; cherished daughter and son-in-law, Helen Elizabeth and Brandon Sarha; step- son, Anthony M. Green and his children, Alana and Ethan Green; brother, James W. Davis, Jr. and wife Peggy; nephews, James W. Davis, III, Paul William Davis and wife Una and children; numerous other family members. Mary Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her many friends and co-workers for her wonderful sense of humor, her big heart, and her love of animals. Pallbearers will be James Warren Davis, III, Paul Davis, Keith Green, Kevin McNabb, Steen Trawick, Jamie Ross Freeman and Kirk Brister. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm February 14, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Special thanks to Dr. Steen Trawick at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Neelima Chintapalli and staff at Christus Schumpert Oncology Hospital. Thanks to all the staff at First Choice Hospice and Americare Sitters.
