Fred Wideman officiating and Rev. Jerry Hilbun assisting. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. The family will receive visitors at the church two hours prior to the service (12:00 Noon until 2:00 P. M.). Mrs. Green was born on May 13, 1917 in Rayville, LA. to Jesse and Willie Lee Stodghill, and passed away in her home at the Russ House in Ruston, LA on March 2, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Jackson Green; her parents; brothers: Jesse Edward Stodghill, Jr. and William Everett Stodghill; sisters: Lula Elizabeth McMahon and Dorothy Lee Cenac. Mrs. Green graduated from Rayville High School and Louisiana Tech University. She spent most of her adult life and raised her family in Delhi, LA, where she was a member of the Delhi United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was artistically talented, and loved to paint, sew, and needlepoint. She was an avid bridge player and a member of several bridge groups. She was a member of the Delhi Garden Club and loved to arrange flowers and work in her yard. Mrs. Green moved to Ruston in 2000 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Lillian G. McCullin and husband, Bill of Ruston, LA; Truman "Jack" Green and wife, Jeanie of Rayville, LA; and Carol G. Anding and husband, George of Baton Rouge, LA.; Grandchildren: Rhonda McCartt and husband, Mark of St Paul, TX; Kevin McNabb and wife, Missy of Monroe, LA; Cassie Livingston and husband, Trent of Delhi, LA; Sarah Green of Rayville, LA; Trey Anding of Baton Rouge, LA; and Allyson Anding of Madison, WI. Step-grandchildren: Mark McCullin and wife Laura of McKinney, TX; Amy Rheams and husband Chris of Azle, TX, and Andrew McCullin and wife Kelly of Ruston, LA.; four great-grandchildren, four step great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Trey Anding, James "Dud" Holland, Trent Livingston, Mark McCartt, Kevin McNabb, and William "Billy" Stodghill. Mrs. Green's children would like to thank all of those who cared for their mother in such a dedicated, compassionate and loving way. A special thanks to her caregivers: Patricia Ellis, Vivian Ellis, Frankie Hamilton, Diana Pritchard, Sherrie Thomas and Ruth Albritton; the staff at the Russ House; Hospice of Caring Hearts; and Dr. J.
