Services are Saturday, April 11, 11:00 a.m., Mt. Zion B.C., 211 Mt. Zion Street, Monroe, La 71201. Visitation will be Friday, 1.30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Millers Funeral Home. Mr. Green was the first African-American professional Photographer in Monroe. He was a devoted church deacon, husband, father, prominent businessman and an avid gardener. His memories will be cherished by his wife Helen Green of 60 years, nine children, twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren who will always remember the wisdom and love he shared with them and his heartwarming smile. Interment will be in Richwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
