ERMA LEE HUGHES GREEN

Funeral service for Erma Dee Hughes Green, 90, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 
AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Mr. Richard Byrd officiating. Interment will 
follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home of Monroe.

Mrs. Green passed away Monday, June 22, 2015, at her residence. She was a 
member of Swartz Church of Christ. Mrs. Green will be remembered as a wonderful 
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Ray Green; grandson, 
Donald Ray McBroom; and parents, Frank and Eva Holland Hughes.

Survivors include her children, James Tarkington and wife Linda; Doyce 
Tarkington and wife Lana; Judy Christy; Kenneth Green and wife Theresa; ten 
grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; 
two brothers, Jason Hughes and Charles Hughes; and one sister, Eula Rook and 
husband Robert.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2015 at 
the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Tarkington, Andrew Tarkington, James D. Tarkington, 
Clayton McBroom, Tanner McBroom, Sarge Vasquez, James Peters, and Gary Shumate. 
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Pierce and James Garvan.

Memorials may be made to the Swartz Church of Christ, 2598 Hwy. 139, Monroe, LA 
71203.
