A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Liberty Baptist Church near Linville, LA, with Rev. Kurt Auger officiating. Visitation and fellowship with family will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Born September 24, 1928, in Linville, LA, Glen graduated from Linville High School in 1945 and attended Northeast Louisiana Junior College and Louisiana State University before marrying Faye McWhirter on December 28, 1949, in Louisville, MS. Glen spent his professional career in the pipeline industry working primarily for Ford, Bacon and Davis Construction Corp. Following his retirement as the company's last General Manager, he formed and operated his own consulting company, G Square Services - Industrial Construction Specialists as a management consultant for paper mill construction in locations across the US. Glen is preceded in death by his wife, Faye McWhirter Green; parents, Jesse L. and Clara Mae Reagan Green; brothers: Miles K (wife, Patti) Green, Leemon Earl (wife, Joyce) Green, and Addison Jack "A.J." (wife, Gypsy) Green; and sister, Lenora Green. He is survived by son, Michael (wife, Vicki) Green; daughter, Jill (husband, Jay) Jordan; grandchildren: Kristi (husband, Michael) Perritt, Shawn (wife, Jenny) Green, and Whitney Stapp (fiancée, Connor Loupe); great-grandchildren: Justin Perritt, Wyatt Perritt, and Grayson Green; brother, M. Gawain (wife, Judi) Green; sister-in-law, Carolle Green; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends their thanks to the staff and administration of Avalon Place, the doctors of Internal Medicine of the Twin Cities and the nurses and support staff of St Francis Hospital 6th floor and St Francis Specialty Hospital, all of Monroe, LA. In keeping with his giving spirit and final wishes, the body has been donated to the LSU School of Medicine for science and research.
