ETHELYN WILLIAMSON GRIFFIN

Ethelyn was born in Pioneer LA, West Carroll Parish, and died July 12, 2014 at 
the age of 100 yrs and 6 months in Orange, California with her daughter at her 
bedside. She had resided in southern CA for the past 15 yrs, and previously in 
St. Gabriel, LA for 50 yrs. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde M. 
Griffin, 2 sons Aaron C. Griffin and Robert A. Griffin, grandson Jeff Griffin, 
parents Ward C. and Lela McElrath Williamson, and her 6 siblings. She is 
survived by her only daughter Jeanette Griffin Hansen (Chris) of Orange CA, a 
special grandson Michael A. Griffin (Linda) of Walker LA, 7 grandchildren, 13 
great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.

Those who knew her well loved her spirit, and she will be greatly missed. As per 
Clyde and Ethelyn wishes their final resting place will be in Pioneer, near 
where they were born and where they began their lives together. A graveside 
service will be held by the family at a date to be determined.
