KAREN SUE HINTON GRIGGS

Funeral services for Karen Hinton Griggs, 56, of West Monroe will be at 10:00 
AM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Bro. 
David Mullins officiating. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery, near 
Sikes, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Karen was born October 31, 1958 in West Monroe and died May 22, 2015. She was 
employed for many years at Bocks Board Packaging. If there was ever a person 
who was born to be a mother and a grandmother, it was her. She was a mother to 
everyone who walked into her door. No one could resist her crazy stories, 
boisterous laughter, and a chance to sit at the table with a good plate of food 
and sweet tea. Her pastime was shopping at Dirt Cheap. She could never pass up 
on a good deal and Black Friday will never be the same.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee Ross Hinton and Eloise Hinton-
Tolbird; brother, Glenn Hinton; and sisters, Betty Hall and Dianne Warren.

Karen is survived by her husband, Michael Griggs; three children, Misty Bradley 
and husband Jason, Greg Griggs and wife Jessica, and Whitney Griggs; four 
grandchildren. Kade, Gracey, Jillian, and Adalynn; and numerous nieces, 
nephews, cousins and close friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Warren, Scott Saterfiel, Jared Saterfiel, David 
Hendrix, Steven Sims, and Todd Eubanks. David Warren will serve as an honorary 
pallbearer.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, May 25 at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home, West Monroe.
