Louis Bartet, Mike Gates, and Michael Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery in Point, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Ollie was born February 4, 1931 in Point, LA and passed away November 13, 2016 at her residence in Point, LA. She loved fishing, cooking, singing, dancing and most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Ollie never met a stranger and everyone she came in contact with knew she loved them. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Susie Carter; siblings, Mitchell Day, Thelma Brown, Doyle Carter, Jonce Carter and Verna Littleton; and her grandchildren, Wendy Ray and JR Bailey. Survivors include her children, Lottie Ray (Harold), Mike Gates (Libby), Paula Smith, and Terry Smith (Betty); grandchildren, Challana Dean (Dino), Kiffney Stewart (John, Jarrod Gates (Mary), Lori Bailey, Rachael Atkins (Chad), Cody Smith, and Alecia Smith; eighteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Elmarie Guice and Maxine Littleton; sisters-in-law, Betty Carter and Dean Carter; adopted child, Erine Bruce (Tam); and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be George Brown, Sonny Day, Travis Guice, Rory Whitehead, Terry Adkins and Joe Michael Wallace. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of Providence Baptist Church, Don Young and Charles Simpson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
