GUIMBELLOT Funeral services for Julius Ferdinand "Bud"Guimbellot , Jr. age 87 of Grayson will be held at 2:00 PM on August 14 2017 from the sanctuary of Cross Roads Baptist Church at Grayson with Bro. Shane Duke and Bro. Clovis Sturdivant officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Winnsboro. Visitation will be on August 14 , 2017 at the church from 1:00 PM until time of service.Julius"Bud" Guimbellot,Jr. was born on August 21, 1929 to the union of his parents Julius Ferdinand Guimbellot, SR and Evelyn Humphries Guimbellot and passed from this life on August 12, 2017 at the West Monroe Guest House in West Monroe following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son-in-law: Thomas McKnight, his daughter-in-law:Susan Guimbellot and by his siblings: Boise Guimbellot, John Guimbellot, Robert Guimbellot and Clotile Watson. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, an avid hunter loving to run his beagles and a very passionate gardener. His family was the light of his life and his love for them was immense. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his wife of 71 years: Ollie Inez Watson Guimbellot, his daughters: Judy Watson and husband Randy, and Brenda McKnight all of West Monroe; two sons: Glenn Guimbellot and wife Nancy and Timothy Guimbellot all of West Monroe; his sisters: Lucy Loflin, Janie Williams, and Evelyn Roberts; nine grandchildren: Michelle McKnight, Monica Savino, Leslie Larsen, Necole Guimbellot, Christopher Watson, Blake Guimbellot, Jeffrey Watson, Tiffany Hatten, and Kristie Milstead; and twenty three great grand children.Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Watson, Jeffrey Watson, Pete Guimbellot, Todd Guimbellot,Blake Guimbellot, Benjamin Milstead, and William Hatten. Honorary pallbearers include Victor Caldwell, Dylan Caraway , Logan Currington,Zachary Haynes, Austin Savino,Tony Savino and Randy Watson.
