Rayland Trisler officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until service time on Tuesday. Margie was the youngest child of five born in Charlestown, West Virginia to Donald Bageant and Emma Lou Forrest Bageant July 24th, 1963. Margie's family moved to West Monroe when Margie was 13. She attended Saint Paschal School and graduated Saint Fredrick's High School in 1981. Swept off of her feet by Joey Guy, she married Joey in West Monroe at Saint Paschal Church in June 1981. Margie and Joey moved to Biloxi, Mississippi while Joey was attending technical school at Keesler AFB and from there relocated to Holloman AFB, Alamogordo, New Mexico where they had their first child. Upon completion of Joey's USAF tour they returned to West Monroe to be with family. Margie began her career in the mortgage industry at First Fidelity which eventually became JPMorgan Chase where she worked until her second child was born. Margie left Chase to be a full time Mother for five years after which she returned continuing her career. Margie loved to creatively cook and travel, spend time with close friends and family and spoil her grandchildren. Margie left our world to be with her brother and parents on August 27th, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Bageant and Emma Lou Forrest Bageant; and brother, David Bageant. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joey Guy; sons, Chris Guy and Alex Guy; sisters, Debby Sloat and husband Don, Cathy Bageant, Patti Campbell and husband Buddy; grandchildren, Haley Burnette and J.T. Guy; nieces, Jennifer Campbell, Rachel Sloat and Jaelyn LeDent; and many close friends, co-workers and acquaintances. Memorials may be made to PAWSNELA or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
