WILLIAM LUTHER GWIN

A celebration of life for William Luther Gwin, 71, of Baskin will be 2 pm 
Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Life Church with Rev. Kevin Bates and Rev. 
Marion Spence officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral 
Home.

Mr. Gwin was born April 3, 1943, in Gilbert to the union of William Augusta and 
Verna Lee Sproles Gwin and passed from this life on February 9, 2015, in 
Baskin.

He is preceded death by his parents and brother Raymond Gwin.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years Dora Mae Blackmon Gwin of Baskin; six 
children: Tammie Pounders and husband Mitch of Baskin, Scott Gwin and wife 
Shannon of Baskin, Chad Blackmon and wife Leah of Monroe, Matt Gwin and wife 
Lisa of Alexandria, Jeremy Paul Gwin and wife Ashley of Baskin and Dustin Gwin 
of Lafayette; grandchildren: Patrick Pounders, Ryan Dickey, Randi Gwin, Aidan 
Holloway, Zoe Blackmon, Carter Gwin, Zaylee Gwin, Zedadiah Gwin; great 
granddaughter Ruby Caroline Mackey; brother Bobby Gwin and wife Gussie of 
Baskin; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Any planned memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 
St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
