GAY M. HALL

Memorial services for Mrs. Gay M. Hall, 81, of Downsville, LA will be 2:00pm 
Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Community Baptist Church in West Monroe.

Mrs. Hall was born October 3, 1935 in West Monroe, LA and passed from this 
life on November 15, 2016 in West Monroe, LA after a brief illness with her 
family at her side. Gay had a great love for nursing and she spent 27 years 
as an LPN in local hospitals. She chose to donate her body to science 
through the Louisiana State Anatomical Board. She was a proud member of the 
DAR Chief Tusquahoma Chapter 6-015-LA.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Barkley; two sons, 
Jeffrey and Kerry Barkley; and her second husband, Ed Hall.

Left to cherish her memory is her one son, Mike Barkley and wife Carolyn of 
Downsville, LA; one daughter, Debra Jenkins of Downsville, LA; nine 
grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren; 
also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to 
Community Baptist Church in West Monroe.
