NANCY BARBER HAMMOCK Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Barber Hammock 75, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2009, at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Weldon Bares, Rev. Joe Soloman and Rev. Betty Swanson will be officiating. Interment to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe. Mrs. Hammock was born November 19, 1933 in Arcadia, LA died May 15, 2009 in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Hammock was member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church, where she attended Newcomer Sunday School Class. She also was member of Phi Mu Sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa and St. Francis North Auxiliary. Mrs. Hammock was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Barber and her husband Billy J. Hammock. Survivors include her three children, Mike Hammock and wife Mary, Joe Hammock and wife Lynn and Colleen Higginbotham and husband Terry; eight grandchildren, Kristie Hodges and husband Michael, Tim Dew, Holly Trappey and husband Joey, Ryan Hammock, Daniel Scalia, Mallory Scalia, Jon Higginbotham and Erin Higginbotham; three great grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Hodges, Joey Trappey, Ryan Hammock, Daniel Scalia, Jon Higginbotham and Mark Lawrence. Honorary Pallbearers will be the fellow members of The Newcomer Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe. Memorials may be made to Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church New Sanctuary Fund.
