BETTY HAMMOND

Graveside services for Betty L. Hammond, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
at 10:00AM Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, 
Monroe.

 Betty was born on April 22, 1933 in Waldo, AR and passed away on January 19, 
2013 in West Monroe, LA. She was known as the "Rose Lady" at Claiborne Creek. 
Betty loved sewing, gardening, but most of all, loved her children, 
grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the 
father of her children, Burton Hammond and daughter-in-law, Helen Hammond.

 Betty is survived by her children, Melinda Emory and husband Eddie, Mike 
Hammond and Sandra Rutledge; grandchildren, Hannah Emory, Seth Hammond, Zeb 
Hammond and wife Charissa, and Josh Hammond; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn 
Schmidt; brothers, Roy Ardell White and wife Carolyn, Bobby Lynn White, 
Benjamin Gerald White and wife Janice, and David Paul White and wife Darlene; 
and a host of nieces, nephews, and their children.

 Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
