MR. CHARLES A. HAMPTON, SR.

West Monroe, LA

Graveside services for Mr. Charles A. Hampton, Sr. 71, of West Monroe, LA will 
be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2008, with Rev. Larry S. Hibbard 
officiating. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park, Monroe, LA under 
the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Hampton was born September 20, 1936, in Monroe, LA and passed away August 
14, 2008, in West Monroe, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

A retired Sergeant with the Louisiana State Police, he was a member of the 
Church of Christ, a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, and a life member of 
the Marine Corps League.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 48 years, Betty Thacker Hampton; 
daughter, Lisa G. Hampton and son, Charles "Chuck" Hampton, Jr.; sisters, Mary 
H. Bonnett, Lila Monahan and Tollie Johnston; numerous nieces and nephews; and 
many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 15, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
