JESSIE LEE HANDY

Jessie Lee Handy went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2016 at his home 
surrounded by loved ones. Jessie was a retired barber, community leader, owner 
of Handy's Barber Shop and also served as a member of the Monroe City School 
Board for 24 years. Services will be 12:00 P.M., Friday at the First Missionary 
Baptist Church, Monroe, LA.

Visitation is Thursday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM, at Smith Funeral Home, Monroe, 
LA. Burial will be in the Richwood Memorial Gardens, Richwood, LA.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that all donations be made to the 
Jessie Lee Handy Foundation which is being established for deserving students. 
Please make all donations to Handy's Barber Shop account at Chase Bank, Monroe, 
LA. In Loving Memory of Jessie Lee Handy.
