JOHN PHILLIP HANKINS

Graveside services for Mr. John Phillip Hankins, age 65, of Lake Providence, 
Louisiana, will be Saturday March 28, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Lake Providence 
City Cemetery, Lake Providence, Louisiana, with Rev. Michael Marsters 
officiating.

Service are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence, 
Louisiana.

Visitation will be Saturday from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Cox Funeral Home, 
Lake Providence, LA.

Mr. Hankins is preceded in death by his father Clarence Daniel "John" Hankins, 
and his mother Wilma Hankins.

Mr. Hankins is survivied by a son, John Phillip Hankins II of Athens, 
Louisiana; a daughter, Elizabeth Anne Hankins of Bernice, Louisiana; 2 
grandsons, Aaron Day and John Michael Hankins; a sister, Jean Hulett & her 
husband Bob Hulett of Dumas, Arkansas; a sister, Clara Fortenberry & her 
husband Earl Fortenberry of Transylvania, Louisiana; a sister, Linda Adler of 
Nashville, Tennessee; a sister, Martha Scott & her husband Robert Scott of 
Hollister, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be John Martin Kelley, Brandon LaRoe, Toney Lensing, Raymond 
Harris, Ronnie Whitty, Lee Overby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Connie Overby, Wilbur Buchanan, Michael Brown, 
Mark Brown, Charlie Whitty, Wayne Fortenberry.
