CLARENCE I. HANKS
Melanco Funeral Home, Carencro, LA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of 
Christian Burial in St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton for Clarence 
I. Hanks, age 82, who passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his residence in 
Carencro. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette. Mr. 
Hanks was a native of Bristol and a resident of Carencro.

Survivors include two sons, Carrold Dale Hanks and his wife, Kathy, of West 
Monroe and Ronald James Hanks of Lafayette; two daughters, Karleen Marie 
Menard and her husband, Ravis, of Ville Platte and Jenell Ann Daigle and her 
husband, Steve, of Mire; ten grandchildren, Kevin Hanks, Kristen Mitchell and 
her husband, Kevin, Tina Roberie, Terry Fontenot and her husband, John, 
Christopher Menard and his wife, Lakel, Amy Dufour, Charise Deshotel, Jennifer 
Hanks, Andre Daigle and his wife, Chelsea and Blaine Daigle and his wife, 
Aimee; and sixteen great grandchildren.

A rosary will be prayed by Eldine Benoit at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral 
home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 
p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
