D. RICK HANSEL

Private family services for Mr. D. Rick Hansel of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Hansel was born August 10, 1957 in Cumberland, MD and passed from this 
life on July 1, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 59. He was an IT at 
Century Link for four years and he loved electronics and technology. He was 
also an avid gardener and loved fine dining and socializing. He loved his 
canine companions Sommer and Amber.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Hansel.

Survivors include his sister, Amy Landis (Jim Bradford); his mother, Nancy 
Hansel; his cousin, Becky Hancock of Cresaptown, MD; his two nieces, Bethany 
and Courtney Landis, whom he loved like they were his own; also survived by 
a host of extended family and friends.
