Eddy Shoemaker will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA. Lillie Annette Cox Hardwick was born August 2, 1944 in Columbia, LA to the union of George Gilbert Cox and Minnie Etta Jones Cox. They preceded her in death. Her parents called her "Biddy Ann." So they are rejoicing today waiting on the arrival once again of their baby girl "Biddy Ann." To her friends and family she was Lillie A, or Annette or Aunt Nett, but to her immediate family she was mom and Maw Maw. She had struggled with sickness for quiet a while, she was tired and ready to go home. She had let this be known to her family on many occasions. So today she is home with her Lord and Savior and in no more pain. She is walking in the garden of life in the arms of her loving husband, Wayne. Along with her other family members and friends that has gone on before her. Though our hearts are saddened, theirs is rejoicing. And we will one day rejoice with them. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. Her and Wayne years ago taught Sunday School for toddlers, taught the youth and took youth trips. She also served as the chairman of the food hostess committee for a long time. Mom loved to read books, loved working puzzles for hours on end. When she was able she loved to cook, especially during the holidays with her family in the kitchen cooking with her, talking, laughing and having a good time. She loved to fish and be outside. She loved camping and traveling. She used to travel a lot with Wayne in his big truck. She loved her children, grandchildren and adored her great-grandkids. She called her great-grandkids her "babies." "Mason" you are the oldest baby, and got to spend the most time with her. She cherished those memories, and now those memories will be in your heart forever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Wayne Hardwick, Sr., 2 brothers, Willie Cox and Willard Cox; sisters, Yvonne Moseley and Charlene McMillan and also 3 infant sisters; father-in-law, Leslie Donavan Hardwick and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brian and Helen Mills. The family would like to thank her long time doctor, Dr. Sean Hayes. Also United Home Care. They have cared for her for several months. A special thank you to Glenwood 6th floor nurses and doctors for all your support and care. We also want to thank Hospice Compassus for their support and kindness. Words can't express our deep Thankfulness.
