Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Swartz First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smart officiating. Interment will follow in Loch Arbor Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Hare went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2008. She was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church and an optical technician for Dillingham Optical for many years. Mrs. Hare was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Survivors include her husband, Paul N. Hare; daughters, Cathy Knight and husband J. C of Swartz, LA, Terry Redden and husband Stanley of Farmerville, LA, and Debbie McGuffee and husband Tony of Swartz, LA; four grandchildren, Daniel Gullette and wife Courtney, Paul Gullette and wife Stephanie, Jessica Bearden and husband Stacy, and Heath Redden and Josie; five great grandchildren, Christian, Cade, and Carter Gullette, Savanna Bearden, and Konnor Floyd; brother, Gene Knoblauch and wife Judy of Marietta, SC; and nephew, Andy Knoblauch and wife Shannon of Marietta, SC. Pallbearers will be Johnny Capps, Raymond Parks, Earl Takewell, Jr., E. J. Sievers, Louis Auttonberry, and Jessie Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Auttonberry Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Swartz First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Swartz First Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to express special thanks to Patient Choice Hospice, and especially two nurses, Peggy and Lynn.
