GERALD L. HARKINS

West Monroe - Funeral Mass for Gerald L. "Jerry" Harkins, 65, of West Monroe,
LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 22, 2017, at St. Paschal
Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Fr. Frank Coens officiating. Interment
will follow in St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery, under the direction of
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Harkins was born December 27, 1951, in Jackson, MS, and passed away
September 19, 2017. He was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church. Mr. Harkins
was the Chief Engineer with KNOE TV/Gray Television, Ham Radio Operator, a
Reserve Police Officer with West Monroe Police Department, and he coached
baseball for many years. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed
dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mae Harkins.

Survivors include his wife, Carla Harkins; son, Ethan Joseph Harkins;
stepdaughter, Rachel Selena Crain; father, Alva Gail Harkins; brother, Ronnie
Harkins and wife Marilyn; and nephew, Shannon Harkins and wife Tanya.

Pallbearers will be Russell Kendricks, Ray Hebert, Ronnie Weaver, John Tom
Murray, Bobby Jackson and Richard Bauer. Honorary Pallbearer will be Patrick
Murray.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 21,
2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
