ERA HILBURN HARPER

Era Hilburn Harper,previously of Collinston and Pineville, LA. died May 6th at 
her home in Raleigh, North Caroline at the age of 98.

Era was the wife of the late Rufus F. Harper, Sr and mother of Sandra H. 
Wimberley of Raleigh, N.C and the late Frank Harper. She was a member Collinston 
High School's 1934 State Basketball championship team.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, May 13, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, 
Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Carter Cemetery, Bastrop, LA.

Era is survived by her daughter Sandra; grandchildren; Margie, Tammy, Debbie, 
Frank, and Christopher; great-grandchildren; Chelsey, Stephanie, Kerrigan, and 
Kourtney; great-great grandson; Tripp; her nieces; Gayle, Judy, Becky, Connie, 
Toni, David, and Betty; nephew; Harold.

Family requests that donations be made to Transitions, Hospice of Wake County, 
250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
