JEAN ANN KOEHLER HARPER

Funeral services for Jean Ann Koehler Harper, 76, of Monroe, will be held at 
10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Baptist 
Church Cemetery, Clarks, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 
West Monroe.

Jean was born in Winona, MN to Leona Barnholtz and Everett Koehler on May 7, 
1940. She was married to James W. Harper on May 20, 1958. Jean owned and 
managed Wallpaper & Construction Supply for many years prior to retirement. 
She was preceded in death by her husband James in 1989, who was an Army 
veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, her mother 
Leona in 2001, and her father, Everett in 1950.

Jean is survived by daughters, Sharon D. Harper, Karen R. Harper, and J. 
Lynne Harper and her partner, Natalie Wallis; her grandchildren, Zoe A. 
Harper and Zachary A. Harper; and her siblings, Charles Everett Koehler, 
Walter Graham Jr., Wade Graham, Barbara Kay Underwood, and Bonnie Lee 
McAdams.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, September 9, 
2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
