HARRELL Funeral Services for Scotty E. Harrell, 59, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Monday, May 23, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Tim Mosher officiating. Interment will be held at Fellowship Cemetery. Scotty was born on September 4, 1956 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on May 20, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Local 446. Scotty was an electrician for over 31 years and did electrical work for Plant 31 as an EI. He was an avid hunter and shooter. Scotty was very intelligent. He always had a joke or some story to tell that always ended in laughter. He never left a ball player behind. He would spend countless hours in the batting cage teaching boys the skills they needed to be the best they could be in life and on the baseball field, working on cars, or learning a new trade to provide for their future. Scotty truly made a difference in everyone he came in contact with. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, C.B. Mills. Survivors include his wife Mary Mills Harrell; sons, Darby Harrell and wife Rachel, Daniel Harrell and fiancé Brittney Head, and Dustin Harrell and girlfriend RaeAnn Colvin; grandchildren, Archer Harrell, Rhett Harrell, and Drake Harrell; parents, Bob and Jeanette Harrell; mother in law, Helen Mills; brother, Brad Harrell; sister, Julie Woodall and husband Robert, Jill Davis and husband Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Darby Harrell, Daniel Harrell, Dustin Harrell, Robbie Woodall, Christopher Woodall, Cody Woodall, Caleb Harrell, and Chris Sharp. Honorary Pallbearer will be Butch Porter.
