SULLIVAN DONALDSON HARRIS

Funeral services for Sullivan D. Harris, Sr., will be held at 11:00 AM 
Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Monroe, LA 
with Rev. William Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Richwood 
Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Monroe, 
LA.

Sullivan Donaldson Harris, Sr. was born on January 31, 1932 and passed away on 
January 1, 2013. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. 
Sullivan worked for the U.S. Postal Office and for the City of Monroe Taxation 
Department. He was a member of the Greater New Hope Baptist Church where he 
served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jeanette Harris and children Sullivan 
Harris, Jr., (Deborah), Dwight Harris, Sr. (Vickie), Pamela Bourn (Virgil), 
Michael Harris, Sr. (Deloris), Ronnie Harris, Sr. (Vonda), and Tammy Green 
(Derrick), sisters, brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael Harris, Jr., Ronnie Harris, Jr., 
Derrick Harris, Kendall Harris, Stanley Harris, and Sullivan George Harris.

Visitations will be held from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM January 4, 2013 at Smith 
Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
