MYRON VERNON HARRISON

Myron Vernon Harrison, 67, passed away on October 13, 2016, at home, after a 
10 month battle with cancer and treatments. He was born (and grew up) in 
Hamburg, Arkansas to Barbra and Vernon Harrison. He went to Louisiana Tech 
University, receiving a BS in industrial engineering and a MBA in finance. 
He worked in multi-wall packaging his entire career, surviving 5 takeovers. 
He was working for International Paper in Bogalusa, LA as a sales rep at the 
time of his illness. He loved playing with his grandchildren, watching his 
son and grandson play baseball and carrying his granddaughter around. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 43 
years, Renie (Irene) Shelley Harrison, his son and daughter-in-law, Tyler 
and Emily Harrison and grandchildren, Drew and Alyssa, his brother, Ben 
Tyler Harrison, his cousins, Brian Duncan, and Nicole Duncan Rhoads. 

A memorial service will be at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1901 
Lexington Ave. Monroe, LA. 71201 on Tuesday, October 18 at 3:00 P.M. with a 
visitation before the service.
